Curated Photography,
Urban Vision,
Human Stories.

Founded in the heart of Milan, TheStreetSoup began as an independent curatorial space dedicated to photography and contemporary art, but quickly evolved into something broader: an international platform that combines talent scouting, visual experimentation, hybrid languages, and urban culture.

Behind every event, every call for entries, every exhibition, there is a clear vision: to give a voice to those who have something to say with a shot, whether it’s a shout or a whisper. And if our name evokes a soup, it’s because here we mix different ingredients: talent and provocation, poetry and social commentary, aesthetics and urgency.

A visual melting pot where everything merges—and anything can happen.

Every project begins with a question. Every exhibition, with a spark.

Welcome to TheStreetSoup. Where photography isn’t just seen. It’s experienced.
Here are some of the most iconic events that have defined our identity : a careful selection that has always earned the prestigious recognition of the national press.

FACES – The Contemporary Portrait & Award 2025 – A tribute to the Master Maurizio Galimberti (Polaroid brand ambassador).

An event in collaboration with POLAROID.

An international explosion of faces, gazes, and stories.

Over 170 photographers from around the world, a dual exhibition venue between one of Milan’s most historic and prestigious palaces (Palazzo Bovara) and a multimedia showroom (ARETÈ).

A coveted award, a special tribute to Maurizio Galimberti, and an immersive exhibition where portraits become visual narratives, mosaics of identity and humanity.

CALIFORNIA LOVE – the other side of the American dream: the outdoor photography exhibition at Porta Genova station in Milan.

An event in collaboration with URBANS GALLERY of Los Angeles.

A journey into the rawest and most poetic West Coast.

An outdoor exhibition set up within Milan’s design district in collaboration with Urbans Gallery, one of Los Angeles’ most significant galleries.

California Love was an exhibition aimed at representing the other side of California—deeply raw scenes like the ghettos of Los Angeles and San Francisco, almost like a carousel conceived by Quentin Tarantino. The shots were by 28 photographers, including Key Rowan-Young, Federico Janni, Rene PoetKing Rodriguez, Patrick Stevens, Wednesday Aja, Emiliano Lopez, Joel Bull Hendricks, and BumDog Torres.

HUMANS – A journey through the streets.

A tribute to Suzanne Stein, special guest of the exhibition, with the participation of over 80 international photographers.

An intense and visceral journey into street photography, where humanity reveals itself in its rawest and most unexpected forms.

The exhibition paid homage to Suzanne Stein, special guest and one of the most powerful voices in contemporary street photography, whose work has redefined the genre through a deeply human and unfiltered gaze.

On display: images from over 80 photographers from around the world, united by the same desire to chronicle life on the streets—across continents, cultures, and contradictions—through the lens of authenticity.

A visual narrative of unfiltered humanity, where every shot becomes an encounter.

MONOCHROME – Contest & Exhibition.

An event in collaboration with NIKON and Samsung.

Black and white as the skin of memory.

An international group show with the participation of 60 photographers who used black and white to evoke feelings of nostalgia, loneliness, and contemplation through their shots, conveying a purer and more direct sense of their artistic visions, with an innovative format: images projected in a loop, like apparitions, broadcast on an impressive four-by-three-meter LED wall.

No prints, no frames: just light, contrast, shadows.

“New York State of Mind” – fine art photographs of the Big Apple on display in Milan.

An event in collaboration with FONDAZIONE MAZZOLENI.

A piece of New York in Milan, seen through the eyes and shots of internationally renowned photographers. The exhibition featured the works of the iconic Richard Sandler (special guest of the exhibition), Suzanne Stein, Max Marienko, Danielle Goldstein, Robert Goldkind, Don Alman, and Bernard Steffin, professional photographers already established worldwide.

Also on display were ten exclusive works by the Master of Polaroid, Maurizio Galimberti, dedicated to New York City and part of the private collection of the Fondazione Mazzoleni of Bergamo.

An iconic exhibition about the most photographed (and never fully told) city in the world.

Alongside the street images, there were also works and archival documents related to the city’s visual culture: from Keith Haring to Warhol.
